Comprehension: Did I understand?

When does Matariki rise every year?Early june and late may

The myth about Ranginui and Papatūānuku is just “one of many Matariki myths” (P. 3). Do some research and write a summary of another myth that tells the story of Matariki. The heavens
Matariki is the Māori name for the small cluster of stars also known as the Pleiades or the Seven Sisters, in the Taurus constellation. In New Zealand it comes into view low on the north-eastern horizon, appearing in the tail of the Milky Way in the last days of May or in early June, just before dawn. This heralds the Māori New Year.

Historically, why was Matariki such an important time for Māori? it was inportant
because they make kites and go fishing

How is Matariki remembered now in the 21st Century?it was remeberd because of the
seven sisters.

How did observing the stars help Māori with planting crops? because over night it gets warm then the plants grow long.

Why is Matariki so important to New Zealanders?Because its a goood day for growing

Do some research and fill in the gaps with the correct information:

Matariki is associated with the star system Pleiades; the Pleiades are about ____ light years away and were formed approximately ____ million years ago. There are a total of ____ stars in the cluster, but is dominated by young hot ____ stars, up to 14 of which can be seen with the naked eye. Matariki is the heliacal rising of the '_____ Sisters', a star cluster seen in late ____, early June.

Types of stars
There are lots and lots types of stars like a dwarf and a dwarf is the most common star
that heaps and heaps of people know like the sun.The sun is a dwarf star and planets orbit
around the sun but that's not the only thing that surprises me what surprises me is that
the sun which is a star is the closest one to earth and that it's the most hottest star and it
is 92.96 degrees.

[Paragraph 2 - change this to your second subheading]

stars and galaxy

Galaxy contains heaps of stars because if there was no stars then there would be know
galaxy in space and  galaxies hold all the future of what's going to happen in 500 years
because how knows is it the stars that make galaxy that holds the future or is it the
galaxy itself that holds the future?.I hope this writing inspired you to write your own.
